    From 1 Dec 2012 at Azov Sea and North Black Sea vessel is allowed to load up to winter mark only

    According to Load line convention and Mariupol PSC, from 1 Dec 2012 vessel is allowed to load up to winter mark only. According to the Convention on Load Lines, from 01 th December 2012 at Azov Sea and North Black Sea for vessels which LOA is less than 100 meters to be applied seasonal winter load line. Shipowners are kindly requested to take into consideration this requirement while fixing tonnage to this area.

    Grain exports from Ukraine in July and August increased by 60%

    Grain exports from Ukraine in July-August 2012-2013 marketing year (July 2012 - June 2013) totaled 2.98 million tons, up 60% over the same period last year. This was reported to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. For  2 months of the current MY wheat exports totaled 1.3 million tons, which is 83% more than in July and August 2011, including exports of wheat rose to 0.933 million tons against 0.612 million tons, feed - to 0.368 million tonnes from 98.1 tonnes. Barley exports dropped by half - to 0.551 million tons against 1.097 million tonnes, maize - has increased almost 20 times - up to 1.1 million tons. Other grain exports totaled 37.4 thousand tons....
