    From 1 Dec 2013 at Azov Sea and North Black Sea vessels wich LOA is less than 100 m allowed to load up to winter mark only

      According to the Convention on Load Lines, from 01 th December 2013 at Azov Sea and North Black Sea for vessels which LOA is less than 100 meters to be applied seasonal winter load line. Shipowners are kindly requested to take into consideration this requirement while fixing tonnage to this area.

    Mariupol port acquired two modern powerful tugs

    This year, on the basis of current ice campaign and considering proposals from clients, the management of Mariupol Port made a strategic decision to strengthen the port fleet with powerful ice-class tugs. Thereby two arctic typetugs: "Captain Markin" and "Captain Merkulov," with main engine power more than 5000 h/p each one wereacquired by SE MSCP. Acquisition of these tugs allows the port in future to look with optimism on difficult situations related with ice formation, which may occur in the AzovSea.
